The First Fence Chain Link Fencing System with Cranked Concrete Posts provides a durable, low-maintenance perimeter solution suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications. It pairs galvanised chain link mesh for flexibility and visibility with the long-lasting strength of precast concrete posts.
The system uses cranked posts, featuring an outward-angled top section. The chain link mesh is fixed to the upright part of the post, while the angled extension supports security toppings like barbed wire or razor wire.
First Fence supplies every component required for a complete chain link fencing system, offering everything from posts and mesh rolls down to the necessary fittings like hog ring clips and applicators.
Make planning your fence easy with our calculator. Enter the meterage you need, and it will tell you exactly how many rolls of chain link to order. Each roll already comes with the necessary line wire.
Your next step is to choose posts based on your fencing layout. You will need End Posts to begin and finish the fence run, with Intermediate Posts placed between them. Use Corner Posts for any changes in direction. To keep the fence taut on long straight sections, you must also use a Two-Way Strainer Post every 30m, which takes the place of an intermediate post. All posts are set at 3.0m intervals.
The cranked post system comes with a choice of corner post set-up. Select from a cranked in or out format; with the cranked out post, the struts are placed on the opposite side to the crank; the cranked in post has the strut on the same side as the crank.
Add chain link hog ring clips to secure the fencing to tension wires or to support structures, hog ring clip pliers to fix your hog rings securely and rapid set post mix for a sturdy in-ground installation. With the right components and layout, creating a secure, durable fence is simple. It is recommended that the hog ring clips be fixed at 300mm intervals.
