2.4m High AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 Acoustic Fencing Kit
The 2.4m High AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) Acoustic Fencing Kit combines high-security perimeter protection with effective noise reduction. Ideal for critical infrastructure, industrial sites, distribution centres and residential areas, it provides a strong physical barrier and helps reduce unwanted noise.
LPCB-certified to LPS 1175 SR1 (A1), the system is designed to resist forced entry while meeting European acoustic performance standards. Made from UC4-treated timber and galvanised steel, the panels are supplied fully assembled for professional installation.
Understanding LPS 1175 SR1 (A1)
The AcoustiGuard® fencing system is independently certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to LPS 1175 SR1 (A1).
This rating confirms that the fence can resist a sustained attack for at least 60 seconds using specified small hand tools, including screwdrivers and pliers. Its integrated 358 security mesh adds strength and helps delay intruders, giving security teams valuable time to respond.
Acoustic Performance and Standards
Designed to reduce unwanted noise, the AcoustiGuard® system complies with BS EN 1793, BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2. It is also designed in accordance with Highways Works Clause 2504 and uses timber treated under Sector Scheme 4.
Its layered construction combines dense timber boards, EchoAbsorb insulation and integrated 358 security mesh to help block and absorb sound. With an average panel density of 71kg/m², excluding posts, the system provides effective sound insulation.
The system is also assessed for structural strength, wind resistance, impact resistance and durability, making it suitable for demanding environments.

- Secure panel fixing: Flange hex-head wood screws secure the panels to the posts and help prevent lifting.
- Flexible layout: Suitable for long fence lines and corners of varying angles. Adjacent corner posts help maintain the system's security rating when installed in accordance with the system drawings.
