The 2.4m High 358 Prison Mesh Security Fencing Kit with Clamp Bar is a high-security perimeter solution designed for sites requiring a strong, climb-resistant and tamper-resistant barrier. Its 2.4m height provides an effective physical deterrent, while the tightly spaced mesh maintains clear visibility for CCTV and security monitoring.

358 Mesh Security

The '358' designation refers to the mesh's 3" x 0.5" aperture and 8-gauge wire configuration. This equates to 76.2mm x 12.7mm apertures manufactured using robust 4mm horizontal and vertical steel wires.

The narrow mesh openings make the fencing extremely difficult to climb, as there is little space for hands or feet to gain a foothold. They also make it difficult to cut through using conventional hand tools, providing an effective barrier against unauthorised access.

2.4m High with Excellent Visibility

At 2.4m high, this fencing provides a substantial perimeter and a strong visual deterrent without compromising visibility.

The dense mesh allows security personnel and CCTV systems to maintain clear sightlines across the boundary. Its smooth, weld-flush construction also minimises sharp protrusions, making it suitable for public-facing locations such as schools, parks and leisure facilities.

Clamp Bar Fixing System

This kit is supplied with a high-security Clamp Bar fixing system. The continuous flat bar secures the mesh panel to the post along its full height, creating a strong and rigid connection.

The Clamp Bar also helps reduce access to external fixings, increasing resistance to tampering while providing a clean and professional finish.

Dig-In or Bolt-Down Posts

The fencing kit is available with two post options to suit different ground conditions:

• Dig-in posts: Designed for softer ground such as soil or grass. The posts are installed into prepared holes and secured with concrete to create a permanent foundation.
• Bolt-down posts: Featuring integrated base plates, these posts are suitable for hard surfaces such as concrete where excavation may not be practical.

Durable Finish

All components are pre-galvanised and powder-coated, providing two layers of protection against corrosion, weathering and general wear.

The standard finish is RAL 6005 Green, with custom RAL colours also available to suit your site or existing perimeter.
