2.1m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
The 2.1m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate provides a secure and practical access point for large vehicles. Designed to complement 2.1m high Palisade Security Fencing, this gate offers an 8.0m-wide opening suitable for vans, HGVs and other large vehicles.
The gate consists of two 4.0m-wide leaves that meet in the centre when closed. Each gate is supplied with two drop bolts and a sliding latch bolt to secure the opening. For additional security, a Heavy-Duty Padlock can be added as a customisation option.
At 2.1m high, this gate is suited to sites requiring a medium level of perimeter security.
Strong and Secure Construction
Manufactured from cold-rolled steel, this palisade gate is designed to provide a strong and durable barrier. The gate features 'W' section pales, which are difficult to grip and help deter climbing attempts.
A choice of pale profiles is available, including:
- Round
- Round and Notched
- Single Pointed
- Triple Pointed
- Flat
Round and flat pales provide a less imposing appearance, while pointed pales offer a more traditional and intimidating security profile. Consider the intended location and application when selecting your pale type.
Galvanised or Powder-Coated Finish
The gate is supplied with a galvanised finish as standard, conforming to BS EN ISO 1461:2009. The protective zinc coating helps prevent rust and corrosion, making the gate suitable for long-term outdoor use.
For additional protection and a customised appearance, the gate can also be Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) in a range of RAL colours. This provides an additional protective layer against weathering while allowing the gate to complement your existing perimeter.
Please note: The gate is supplied with triple-pointed pales and a galvanised finish as standard. Alternative pale profiles and Polyester Powder Coating can be selected when ordering.
Dig-In or Bolt-Down Installation
The ground conditions at your site will determine which post configuration is most suitable:
- Dig-in posts: Designed for softer ground such as soil or grass, where the posts can be installed into prepared holes and secured with post mix.
- Bolt-down posts: Suitable for hard surfaces such as concrete. These posts feature base plates that can be secured using ground anchor bolts.
Post mix and ground anchors are not included with the gate kit and should be purchased separately where required.

The 2.1m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is supplied as an assembly kit containing the components required for installation, including the gate leaves, pales, posts and fixing bolts.
