2.1m x 5.0m Single Leaf Palisade Security Gate
You can install this 2.1m x 5.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate into Palisade Security Fencing structures that are 2.1m high, so that small vehicles like forklifts can pass through when required. By attaching this type of gate, you can create a useful point of access which enables a continuous workflow without compromising the security of your premises. Opening as two gate leaves, this gate closes in the middle and can be secured by using the sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts. To provide your palisade fencing and gate with extra security, you may use a Heavy-Duty Padlock, which can be attached to the sliding latch bolt, and this is available as a customisation option.
At 2.1m high, this gate is generally considered to be more suitable for locations possessing a medium-level security risk. You can use this palisade gate in a variety of places and can erect it on different types of ground. Before construction, you must consider the type of ground you intend to erect your security fencing and palisade gate upon as this will affect which type of gate posts you will be able to use. Therefore, to erect this gate on a hard surface like concrete, you will require Bolt Down posts, whereas to erect this gate on a softer type of ground surface, you will require Dig-In Posts as well as Postfix cement. Features & Manufacture
With great strength and stability, this 2.1m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can provide fantastic security to your site. It is manufactured from steel which has undergone a cold rolling process to form its shape. By cold rolling the steel it is made thinner and lighter in weight, although the steel still manages to retain its strength. The steel is also given a zinc coating to help prevent the development of rust. This is called galvanisation and it successfully meets the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. There is also the option to polyester powder coat your palisade gate. By requesting this type of finish, you can supply your gate with greater protection against damage and corrosion, as well as a colourful and brighter appearance. A great aspect of this palisade gate is its clever design. There are several pales that feature within this gate’s construction, and each of these possesses a ‘W’ shaped profile. This makes any gripping of the pales very difficult, so opportunities for climbing are reduced. The tops of the pales also feature a Flat, Round and Notched, Round, Triple Pointed or Single Pointed design, and these also help to restrict climbing attempts. Pointed pale types are also great for providing a form of theft deterrence to the palisade gate as they have an intimidating look. Flat and Round pale types are better for areas requiring a reasonable form of safety, as they are less harmful if scaled. You will not receive any Post-mix cement within your kit, so if this is needed for setting Dig-In posts into the ground, please add the required amount to your shopping cart.
We offer a variety of customisation options for this type of gate at the top of this page. These are a galvanised or Polyester Powder Coating finish, post type, pale type and a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
