Protect and secure your premises from unwanted intrusion with the use of palisade fencing. These 2.1m x 1.2m Pedestrian palisade gates create a safe access point for both visitors and staff. Creating a separate entrance or exit to your site helps to improve safety and reduce the risks of collisions or accidents which could occur with vehicles using gates with wider openings.
Designed to provide a high level of strength and rigidity, whilst allowing for an excellent level of visibility for additional security systems, palisade fencing has been in use for many years to protect sites and property all over the world. Palisade fencing and gates are comprised of vertical steel sections known as pales, these form the bulk of palisade fencing and are held securely in place by two vertical rails, one at the top and one at the bottom.
These 2.1m high pedestrian gates are suitable to use with 2.1m high palisade fencing to create a seamless fencing line.
The 2.1m high by 1.2m wide pedestrian palisade gates are a cost-effective security solution which provide an high level of strength, whilst also appearing imposing enough to deter unwanted persons from attempting to access your site.
Each Pedestrian palisade gate has been made from cold rolled steel, the use of this particular type of steel in the gates means that they have an incredible amount of strength whilst keeping weight to a minimum. This makes transportation and installation much easier than other palisade fencing which may not have been constructed using cold rolled steel. The strength of the pales means that it would be incredibly difficult for intruders to bend or damage them in order to gain access.
A very common way that intruders will attempt to gain access to a site is to climb over the perimeter fencing. In order to combat this, our palisade fencing pales have ‘W’ shaped profiles which make it incredibly difficult for would be intruders hold on to in order to scale the fencing. Another anti-climb feature that palisade fencing has is the tops of the pales have been designed to further prevent climbing. These gates can be ordered with either standard triple pointed pales, single point or rounded and notched. (Please note: lead times may vary depending on the type of pale selected)
Palisade fencing has many benefits, which include:
The 2.1m x 1.2m pedestrian gate comes with the following components:
In order to protect your palisade gate from the damaging and detrimental effects of weathering and rusting, each gate is coated with a protective galvanised zinc coating. These coatings comply with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard and will keep your gate looking great for years to come.
