2.1m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit

The 2.1m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit provides a strong, stylish and cost-effective solution for creating secure boundaries and perimeters. Suitable for parks, schools, gardens, residential properties and other public or private spaces, these railings offer an effective visual deterrent while maintaining an attractive appearance.

Manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel, the railings are designed for long-term outdoor use. Dig-in and bolt-down post options are available, making the system suitable for a variety of ground conditions.

Features & Benefits

The 2.1m height provides a strong visual deterrent while the sleek vertical bar design creates a smart and unobtrusive perimeter.

Each panel consists of 20mm diameter round vertical bars, spaced 120mm apart from centre to centre. The bars are secured by two 10mm thick horizontal bars positioned along the bottom and 150mm from the top of the panel.

The panels are supported by 70mm x 70mm hollow box section posts, with two support legs attached to the bottom bar for additional strength and stability.

The galvanised steel construction provides a protective zinc coating that helps prevent rust and corrosion, making the railings suitable for permanent outdoor applications.

Polyester Powder Coating

For a customised appearance and additional protection, the 2.1m High Standard Vertical Bar Railings can be finished with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC).

Available in a wide range of RAL colours, PPC provides a smooth, durable finish that can complement your surroundings, company colours or existing perimeter. It also adds another protective layer against weathering and corrosion.

Post Options

The railing kits are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts:

• Dig-in posts: Designed for softer ground such as soil or grass, where holes can be excavated. The longer posts are installed into the ground and secured using Post Mix.
• Bolt-down posts: Ideal for hard surfaces such as concrete, where digging is impractical. These posts feature a base plate with pre-drilled holes for securing them using ground anchor bolts.

• 1 x Vertical Bar Railing Panel
• 1 x Vertical Bar Railing Post
• 4 x Vertical Bar Railing Angle Cleats
• 6 x M10 x 30mm Bolts
• 2 x M10 x 90mm Bolts
• 8 x M10 Shear Nuts
• 2 x Support Legs

How to Install Your Panel

1. Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the required location for the new cleat, taking the ground gradient into account.
2. Open the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolts.
3. Touch up and spray the hole if required.
4. Attach the cleat using the appropriate M10 Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut.
5. Attach the railing panel in accordance with the standard installation guidance.

Please note: Ensure the spacing relationships correspond with the existing hole centres on the posts.

Complete Your Railing With a Gate

Create a complete perimeter system with a matching Vertical Bar Railing Gate. Our range includes single-leaf pedestrian gates and larger double-leaf gates up to 10m wide, providing secure access for authorised pedestrians and vehicles.

Like the railing kits, gates are available with dig-in or bolt-down posts and can be customised with a Polyester Powder Coating in a range of RAL colours.
