You can install this 2.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate into Palisade Fencing structures of the same height to form an access point for large vehicles. The great thing about this Palisade Gate is that it allows you to grant access to vehicles like HGVs when required, and then keep your premises secure and protected from intrusion when the site is no longer in operation. Opening to a full width of 8.0m, this Palisade Gate consists of two 4.0m gate leaves which are secured together with the sliding latch bolt and the two drop bolts which slot into the ground beneath. For extra gate, you may request a Heavy-Duty Padlock to lock the sliding latch bolt in place.
This Palisade Gate can be erected in a wide range of locations although because of its 2.0m height, it is generally considered to be more appropriate for low security risk areas. Suitable for construction on both hard and soft ground types, this gate, along with your Palisade Fencing system, will need to be assembled with gate posts that are compatible with the ground on which it is being erected. This means that Dig-In posts will need to be used for softer ground and Bolt Down posts will need to be used for hard ground.
This Double Leaf Palisade Gate is very durable and offers a great deal of strength. It is manufactured from steel and is moulded into shape by an effective cold rolling process. The reason for cold rolling the steel is so that it is able to become thinner and lighter, but still allow it to retain its high strength. To preserve the condition of the steel and protect it from rust, the Palisade Gate is supplied with a galvanised finish. The galvanisation process consists of a coating of zinc and this type of finish complies with the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. As this Palisade Gate can often be vulnerable to corrosion and damage, we also offer a Polyester Powder Coating finish. By applying this type of finish, the Palisade Gate is provided more resilience, along with a colourful and more attractive appearance. Polyester Powder Coating is available as a customisation option.
The pales that feature within this Palisade Gate are designed to hinder climbing attempts as much as possible. The top of each palisade pale restricts the action of climbing and works as an effective theft deterrent. The palisade pales are also very difficult to grip onto due to their ‘W’ profile shape and this also helps to limit climbing opportunities.
These 2.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are automatically supplied with triple pointed pales and a standard galvanised finish. You can change the type of pales and finish by opting for alternative customisation options.
We supply all of our Palisade Gates as a kit, however, Post Mix and Ground Anchors are not included, so will need to be purchased separately.
To make sure that your Palisade Gate meets all of your needs, customise it when placing your order so that its features the correct posts, pales, finish or a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
