This 2.0m x 3.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate can be easily installed into a Palisade Fencing system, where it will function as a point of access for small vehicles like cars. Opening fully to create a driving space of 3.0m, this Palisade Gate enables you to control your site’s accessibility as well as secure your premises when the security gate is closed. This Palisade Gate is secured with the sliding latch bolt and drop bolt, although you may use a Heavy-Duty Padlock to give your Palisade Fencing and Palisade Gate extra security. At 2.0m high, this Palisade Gate is appropriate for locations which are not considered a high security risk area.

Versatility is a great aspect of this Palisade Gate. The security gate has the ability to be assembled on both hard and soft ground, and this will ultimately determine the type of posts that should be used to erect the Palisade Gate. Therefore, if your security fencing and Palisade Gate is constructed on hard ground, you will require Bolt Down Posts. On the other hand, if you choose to construct this Palisade Gate on softer types of ground, Dig-In Posts should be used along with Postfix cement. When shut and secured, this Palisade Gate effectively integrates with your Palisade Fencing structure, where it functions as another Palisade Fence panel to guard the perimeter of your location.

Features & Manufacture

This Palisade Gate consists of a gate frame to fit into your Palisade Fencing, plus palisade posts and pales for its construction. Made from steel, these palisade pales possess a high level of strength because they have undergone cold rolling for their manufacture. The process of cold rolling makes the steel thinner and lighter in weight, but still allows the steel to remain very strong. The Palisade Gate is also galvanised to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. This effectively provides the Palisade Gate with more durability as the zinc coating, which is applied, helps in the prevention of rust development. Polyester Powder Coating may also be requested for your Palisade Gate, and this ultimately supplies greater protection against general wear and damage, as well as making your Palisade Gate more colourful and attractive.

Designed to be hard to climb, the pales within this Palisade Gate each have a ‘W’ shaped profile, which makes gripping very difficult. They will also have a particular top style, which also makes any attempts at climbing very difficult. Unless modified within the customisation section, these 3.0m wide Palisade Gates are automatically supplied with a galvanised finish and pales that are Triple Pointed.

Gate Kit

We always supply our Palisade Gates as a kit ready for assembly. Your Palisade Gate will include palisade pales, palisade posts and the gate frame, to fit into your Palisade Fencing, plus fixing bolts, a sliding latch bolt, a drop bolt and two hinges. Please note that Postfix cement and Ground Anchor Bolts will not be provided with your Palisade Gate kit, so these will have to be bought separately if required for installation.
