This 2.0m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can be used as an entry and exit point for small vehicles which need authorised access to a site. Easy to attach to Palisade Fencing, this Palisade Gate opens to create a 3.0m wide driving space for vehicles like forklifts and cars. The great benefit of this Palisade Gate is that it enables vehicles to pass through when required and effectively secures the location when it is closed; therefore allowing you to successfully manage your site’s accessibility. When this Palisade Gate is shut, it is secured by a sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts, and each of these items is provided in your gate kit. If you would like to increase the security of your Palisade Fencing and Gate, you may use a Heavy-Duty Padlock to lock the sliding latch bolt altogether. This is available as a customisation option.
As this Palisade Gate is 2.0m high, it is generally recommended for use in areas which are considered to be low risk in terms of security. Bolt Down posts should be used when assembling this Palisade Gate on hard ground, whereas Dig-In posts should be used for softer ground; where the posts will have to be set into the ground using Postfix cement.
Strong and dependable, this Palisade Gate is extremely robust and can withstand high winds without its stability being affected. The Palisade Gate is manufactured from cold rolled steel, which means that it when it is moulded it becomes thinner and lighter in weight, yet it remains very strong. This steel Palisade Gate also offers great security for your premises and helps to prevent intruders damaging or stealing from your site. The shape of the pales help to restrict climbing opportunities for intruders. Pointed pales also work as an effective theft deterrent to discourage anyone from attempting to climb over the gate. Also, the profile of the pales makes them tough to grip onto due to their ‘W’ shape, so therefore climbing opportunities are greatly limited.
To ensure that the Palisade Gate has a high level of durability, it is provided with a protective galvanised finish which conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. This consists of a zinc coating which helps to protect the steel from rusting over time. To supply more protection to the Palisade Gate, there is the option to polyester powder coat the steel in a number of RAL colours. By opting for this type of finish, your Palisade Gate will become more resilient to weathering, as well as adopting a colourful and more striking appearance. You may select Polyester Powder Coating as a customisation option at the top of this page.
As standard, we supply our Palisade Gates with a galvanised finish and Triple Pointed pale. There is the opportunity to alter these features by customising your Palisade Gate in the section above.
All of our Palisade Gates are sold as kits containing the necessary components for gate assembly. Within these kits there are posts, pales, fixing bolt, drop bolts, hinges, the gate frame and a sliding latch bolt. The only item that we do not supply in our kits is Postfix cement, so you will need to order this as an additional item if required.
You will be given the opportunity to customise your Palisade Gate when you place your order. By opting for a range of customisation options you can tailor your gate so that it meets all your needs.
