The 2.0m High 358 Prison Mesh Security Fencing Kit with Clamp Bar is a professional-grade perimeter security system designed to provide exceptional strength, visibility, and durability. Known as 358 Mesh (derived from its 3" x 0.5" x 8-gauge wire configuration), this fencing features 4mm thick horizontal and vertical steel wires with apertures of 76.2mm x 12.7mm. The extremely tight mesh pattern makes it virtually impossible to climb or cut through using standard tools. The narrow spacing between the wires does not allow enough room for fingers or tools, creating a highly effective barrier that deters potential intruders.
At 2.0 metres high, this system offers a robust and secure boundary suitable for medium- to high-risk locations. It provides an excellent balance of strength and visibility — ideal for environments that demand both protection and ongoing observation. All fencing components are pre-galvanised and powder coated for superior resistance to corrosion and weather damage. The standard finish is RAL 6005 Green, which blends naturally into outdoor environments, though the system can be custom powder coated in any RAL colour at no extra cost.
