Product Description

14/3 Corrugated Roofing Sheet

Roofing sheets made of corrugated steel are known by various names in the industry, including CI Sheets, wriggly or wrinkly tin, corry tin, tin hat roofing, sinusoidal profile, or roof cladding. They were originally made of iron many years ago and are sometimes still known as corrugated iron. They are a multi-use building material and they are strong, durable and environmentally sustainable.

Features and Benefits

The 14/3 corrugated galvanised steel roofing sheet has a cover width of 1m and features a profile of 14/3 (with 14 rolls or corrugations at 3" measured from the top of one roll to the next). Panels are available in 8ft, 10ft and 12ft lengths. For proper coverage, it is recommended to overlap two panels with one corrugated ridge. This product has three thickness options including 22g, 24g and 26g.

The grooved shape of these sheets provides structural strength and durability, while the galvanised steel material makes them resistant to wear and tear. They offer excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring a long-lasting roofing solution suitable for any building.

These steel roofing sheets are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, and high winds, when properly installed and maintained. They are resistant to cracking and warping, fire and heat resistant, and do not rot or decay like other materials. Compared to traditional roofing products like concrete tiles or shingles, they are relatively lightweight, allowing for quick and easy installation. They can cover large areas rapidly, which is advantageous for temporary roof covers, and they can be conveniently transported as they fit compactly into one another.

Use

These galvanised, grooved sheets are widely chosen in the general building and agricultural trade. They are commonly used for structures such as sheds, barns, poultry houses, and other agricultural buildings due to their durability.

These sheets should be stored away from the elements to prevent 'white rust' forming. The edges of these panels can be sharp so gloves should be worn when handling.
