1.8m x 5.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate Kit
The 1.8m x 5.0m double leaf palisade security gate has been designed to provide a strong, safe and secure point of access to your site for small, medium and large vehicles.
The gate itself comprises of two 2.5m wide leaves, both of which can be opened and closed independently of one another. This can be used to restrict the flow of traffic in to and out of your site. It is possible to hold the leaves open for extended periods of time with the use of the drop bolts. These bolts can also be used in conjunction with the slider and a padlock (sold separately) to secure the gate when it is not in use.
To prevent unwanted access by intruders such as thieves or vandals, the 1.8m pales used in this gate kit have a W shaped profile, which makes climbing over incredibly difficult. As standard, the pales are topped with a triple pointed design, to further deter access to the site via climbing. It is also possible to have these pales with either a round and notched or single point tops.

Each palisade gate kit has been constructed from high quality cold rolled galvanised steel. Producing components using the cold rolling process means that lighter parts can be produced which still offer a high level of strength and security. This allows for a much easier installation process with lighter, easier to handle gate components.
The 1.8 x 5.0m double leaf palisade gate is available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing for installation on a variety of ground types. The dig in posts are ideal for softer ground types where it is possible to dig holes and then secure with the use of post mix. (Please note: post mix is sold separately)
The bolt down posts are the best choice for sites where it may be costly or time consuming to dig holes, such as sites where the ground as been tarmacked or covered in concrete. The posts are secured in place with the use of ground anchor bolts (Please note: Ground anchor bolts are sold separately)
In order to protect the 1.8 x 5.0m double leaf palisade gate kit from the detrimental and damaging effects of weathering and rust, the components have been finished with a galvanised coating. This zinc coating creates a protective layer, protecting the metal and allowing it to keep its silver finish for much longer than untreated steel.
As well as the galvanised finish, it is also possible to have the palisade gate with a Polyester powder Coated finish (PPC) in a range of RAL colours. The coatings offer a more aesthetically pleasing look to your fencing line as well as providing a second layer of protection against weathering and rust.
