1.8m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 1.8m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can be used as a point of entry for small sized vehicles like forklifts that require access to a site At 3.0m wide, this Palisade Gate can only allow a single line of traffic to pass through at one time. The installation of this security gate into a Palisade Fencing system enables you to manage the accessibility of your site, as well as keeping your premises secure when no staff is present. The security of this Palisade Gate is attained by securing the sliding latch bolt and two drop bolts, and these are provided with the Palisade Gate. You can also select a Heavy-Duty Padlock as a customisation option to lock your Palisade Fencing.
At 1.8m high, this Palisade Fencing Gate is more appropriate for locations that possess a low security risk. The security gate can be constructed on hard ground using Bolt Down Posts. Alternatively, if this Palisade Gate is erected on soft ground you should use Dig-In Posts and then Postfix cement to set them into the ground.
Features and Manufacture
This Palisade Gate is made from cold rolled steel which makes it thinner, though still high in strength due to the pale edges being thicker and curving inwards. As rust can often form on steel, this 3.0m wide Palisade Gate is provided with a protective zinc coating to help prevent this. This coating is called galvanisation and it effectively meets BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. There is also the option to polyester powder coat your Palisade Gate to make it more protected against wear and corrosion. Polyester Powder Coating will also give your Palisade Gate a colourful finish; making it more visible and attractive for the area in which it is erected.
The construction of this Palisade Gate is very effective in providing a high level of security along with our Palisade Fencing systems. The profile of each pale is ‘W’ in shape, and this makes it very hard for anyone to grip them or gain a footing to climb. The pales also have an intimidating design which helps to prevent intruders from gaining unauthorised access. Every 1.8m x 3.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate that we supply features a galvanised finish and Triple Pointed pale types. You may alter these features by customising your gate above.
Gate Kit
We provide all Palisade Gates as a kit which contains all the necessary parts and fixings for construction. Postfix cement will not be supplied within your kit so you will need to purchase this separately if this is required for your Palisade Gate.
