This 1.8m x 10.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is useful for creating a vehicle access point in a Palisade Fencing structure which is also 1.8m in height. This Palisade Gate can be easily installed where it will effectively enable you to manage the accessibility of your location, as well as securing the site when it is not in operation. Containing two gate leaves, this Palisade Gate opens to form a driving space that is 10.0m wide and suitable for large vehicles like HGV’s. When the gate is closed the two leaves meet in the middle and are secured shut by two drop bolts a sliding latch bolt. There is also the option to order a Heavy-Duty Padlock which will give your Palisade Gate more security.
You may erect this Palisade Gate in a variety of locations; although because of its 1.8m height, this security gate is considered to be more appropriate for low security risk areas. This Palisade Fencing Gate is very versatile and can be assembled on both hard and soft ground. This means that to assemble this gate on softer ground you should use Dig-In posts, but for hard ground surfaces you should use Bolt Down posts instead.
This 10.0m wide Palisade Gate offers a high level of strength and reliability. It is made from steel which has been moulded into shape by a process of cold rolling. Cold rolling the steel makes it thinner and lightweight, but still very strong. The Palisade Gate is given a galvanised finish to help protect it from rust. This finish meets BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and effectively supplies the gate with more durability. There is also the opportunity to give your Palisade Gate system a Polyester Powder Coating finish. This type of finish supplies extra protection against damage and the effects of weathering, as well as injecting colour into your Palisade gate. You can find a selection of RAL colours for Polyester Powder Coating above.
This Palisade Gate contains several pales within its construction which are designed to reduce climbing opportunities so potential intruders cannot gain access to your site. This is achieved by the ‘W’ shape profile of the pales. By possessing this shape, the palisade pales are made hard to grip to try climbing over. The top of each pale also features a unique design which helps to restrict climbing.
We provide all Palisade Gates with triple pointed pale types and a standard galvanised finish; however you can modify this by choosing other customisation options from the section above.
When you order a Palisade Gate you will be provided with a kit. These Palisade kits will contain all the components needed for gate construction including items such as pales, posts and fixing bolts. No Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts will be supplied within these kits so if this is needed please add it to your shopping cart.
To make sure that your Palisade Gate has the correct features and meets all your needs, you can choose from a variety of customisation options which can be selected when placing your order.
