1.8m High Single Leaf Standard Bow Top Railing Gate Kit
This range of sleek and stylish metal bow top gates is an ideal choice for adding access points in a wide range of outdoor locations and purposes including garden gates or as an access point for public spaces such as parks or schools. To accommodate pedestrians or even vehicles, these gates are available in a wide range of sizes starting at 2.0m through to 5.0m.
Each of these fantastic quality bow top gates has been built by our team of expert fabricators to meet our exceptionally high standards using superb quality galvanised steel. The 1.8m high bow top railing gates are made to last for years to come, with their galvanised zinc coating protecting the gates from the damaging effects of rust and corrosion.
These single leaf metal bow top gates are supplied with a gate leaf with a sliding catch as well as a post with a catch. This allows the gate to be safely secured when not in use, preventing the gate leaf from blowing open, potentially causing injuries to people nearby and damaging the hinges. To further secure the gate, preventing unauthorised access, the gate latch can be secured with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately).
The gates are also supplied with a drop bolt which can be used to hold the gate open for extended periods of time. The drop bolts can also be used to further secure the gates when not in use.
To allow these gates to be installed in as many different locations as possible, they are available with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Dig in posts – The dig in posts are ideal for locations where the ground is soft enough to allow holes to be dug. This type of post is longer than the bolt down variant, allowing part of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are suitable for use in areas where the ground surface may be covered in concrete, making digging holes either impractical or expensive. This post type has a base plate which allows the post to be secured to the ground surface with the use of ground anchor bolts (sold separately)

Each of these bow top steel railing gates, as standard is finished with a superb quality zinc galvanised coating. This coating provides the steel with a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation, whilst also providing the gate with a fantastic silver finish.
If you are looking for a little more colour for your gate, it is possible to order them with a high-quality Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These hard-wearing coatings are available in a range of RAL colours and don’t just look great, but add an extra layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.

Gate restrainers are an incredibly effective safety accessory for your 1.8m high standard bow top railing gate. The gate restrainer consists of a hard wearing and strong braided stainless steel cord which is attached to the gate leaf and the gate post. This will then be able to ‘restrain’ the gate leaf, preventing it from falling and causing potential injury.
