1.8m High Double Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
A stylish, strong and cost-effective gate system which can be used for a range of applications, including garden gates, gates for driveways or for use in more public areas, such as providing access to parks or play areas. To allow access for anything from a crowd of pedestrians to multiple lanes of traffic, these 1.8m high metal railing gates are available in widths ranging from 2.0m to 10.0m.
Our 1.8m high double leaf standard vertical bar gates have all been designed and built to our highest standards. Manufactured by our expert team of fabricators, using excellent quality galvanised steel, you can be sure that these gates will remain strong and looking fantastic for years to come.
To allow the gates to be held closed when not in use, the gates are supplied with a sliding latch gate leaf and a catch gate leaf. The sliding latch can also be secured further with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately).
As the gate leafs can be opened independently of one another, the 1.8m high double leaf vertical bar gate is supplied with two drop down bolts. These can be used to hold each of the gate leafs open for extended periods of time. They can also be used in conjunction with the sliding latch to secure the gate closed.
So that these double leaf vertical bar standard railing gates can be installed in as many different locations as possible, they are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
- Dig in posts: The dig in posts are ideal for locations where holes can be easily dug. This type of post is longer than the bolt down variant, allowing some of the post to be placed into the hole and securely held in place with the use of post mix (sold separately).
- Bolt down posts: Bolt down posts are the ideal choice for areas where digging holes may not be possible, such as locations that have been covered in concrete. This type of post has a pre-attached base plate, which allows the posts to be bolted down to the ground surface with the use of ground anchor bolts (sold separately).
Each Kit Includes:
- 1 x Sliding latch gate leaf
- 1 x Catch gate leaf
- 2 x Hinge gate post
- 4 x Adjustable gate eye
- 2 x Drop bolt
Customise Your Gate With a PPC Finish
As standard, each of the 1.8m double leaf metal railing gates has been finished with a high-quality galvanised zinc coating. These coatings give the gates a great-looking silver finish whilst also giving the steel a protective layer against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
Should you want to add some colour to your gate system, they can also be ordered with a bright and colourful Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These hard-wearing coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours and provide the steel gates with an additional layer of protection.
