First Fence provides everything you need to set up your chain link fencing system, from posts and chain link rolls to hog clips, pliers, and spray paint touch-up cans. Use our calculator to determine exactly what you need—just input the meterage to calculate how many rolls of chain link you'll require, then choose your posts. Your selection will depend on your location and fencing requirements, but you can choose from end posts for the start and end of each section, corner posts for direction changes, two-way strainer posts for straight runs over 69m used no more than 30m apart, and intermediate posts, typically spaced 3m apart.
Additionally, add chain link hog ring clips to secure the fencing to tension wires or support structures, along with hog ring clip pliers to ensure a secure fit. For a solid in-ground installation, use rapid-set post mix, and keep spray paint touch-up cans handy for quick repairs to any scuffs or marks. It is recommended that the hog ring clips are fixed at 300mm intervals.
