The 1.8m high 358 D Mesh security fencing is an ideal solution to your fencing perimeter requirements. The mesh comprises of vertical and horizontal steel wires which are 3.75mm in diameter with narrow gaps between each of the wires. These small, narrow gaps are too small for most people to be able to get their fingers between, making climbing over incredibly difficult. With large diameter wires, cutting through this mesh would prove difficult with standard cutting tools. The 358 D Mesh also has the addition of ‘V’ shapes which have been pressed into them that not only add to the look of your fence line but also add strength, stability and rigidity. This ‘V’ shape also increases the difficulty that any intruder would have climbing over this fence.
This type of fencing comes with two types of post, dig in or bolt down. The dig in post is a fairly common type of post which requires holes to be dug and filled with post mix (sold separately) to support the post. The other type is bolt down, which has a base plate which is bolted down to solid strong ground, such as concrete, using anchor bolts (M16 x 125mm sold separately). This type of post is ideal for places where it would not be ideal to dig holes such as car parks.
This mesh fencing has also been given a dual layer of protection with treated pre-galvanised steel which has then been given a RAL colour powder coated finish. This double layer of protection provides this fencing with a longer life span with extra protection against weathering and other forms of damage such as vandalism.
Purchasing torque bits is highly recommended as they are required when installing the mesh fencing security systems and they have been specifically designed for use with the bolts which are included with the mesh fencing kits.
Please note: All of the mesh fencing clips are supplied in black as standard. If you require the clips to be in a different RAL colour, please contact us for a quotation.
