This system is made from Plaswood which is a high quality, innovative and durable material made from recycled plastic. The product and raw materials are tested by independent experts to ensure performance and consistency, and the recycling processes transform waste into new supplies and solutions.
The recycled plastic is engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions, including temperature changes, moisture, and UV exposure. Unlike traditional wood, it resists rotting, warping, and insect damage. Once installed, it requires minimal upkeep, as it won't deteriorate over time like standard timber.
First Fence has everything you need for creating your new mortised post and rail fencing, including this 1.7m mortised corner post, ideal for when your fencing changes direction. The post has a width of 100mm x 100mm and a total height of 1700mm. This post is intended for the 1.2m system and 500mm needs to be set into the ground. No fixings are needed to attach the post and rail.
This is a dig-in fencing system and requires one bag of post mix per post. It is recommended that posts are installed at 1.0m (+/- 50mm) post centre intervals.
Also available in this product line are rails, end and corner posts. This post is available in black or brown.
Recycled plastic post and rail requires little to no maintenance once it has been correctly installed; however, it is good practice to check all fencing connections periodically to ensure integrity and make any repairs as soon as they are spotted.
