Vertical Bar Railings are a common sight in parks, around schools or in gardens to create boundaries and borders for a range of applications. Their sleek design allows them to blend in with their surroundings or be made into more of a feature with the use of Polyester Powder Coatings (PPC).
Each bay consists of a series of 16mm thick round vertical rails, which are held securely in place with two 10mm thick galvanised steel bars which run along the bottom and 150mm from the top of the railing panel. Each panel is held in place with the use of 50mm hollow box section posts, which are available in either dig-in or bolt-down variations. For additional support, there is also a support leg which is attached to the centre of the panel.
The 1.5m High Standard Vertical Bar Railings have been built to last, from the use of galvanised steel with its zinc coating helping to prevent the formation of rust, to their strong and hard-wearing construction, they will be sure to look fantastic for years to come.
Looking to add some colour to your railing system? These 1.5m High Standard Vertical Bar Railings can be customised with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These coatings not only can create a visually striking perimeter but also provides the additional function of providing the steel with an additional layer of protection against weathering and corrosion.
To allow installation in a wide range of locations and ground types, these Vertical Bar Railing systems are available with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
Each of the 1.5m High Standard Vertical Bar Railing kits contains the following components:
Step One: Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the desired location for the new cleat; the gradient dictates this.
Step Two: Open the hole to a 12mm hole size to take the M10 bolts (as listed in the step below).
Step Three: Touch up and spray the hole, if required.
Step Four: Attach the cleat using the M10 x 70mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (for 0.9m to 1.2m height systems) or M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (1.5m to 2.4m height systems).
Step Five: Attach the railing panel as per standard installation guidance.
Please note: Please ensure the spacing relationships are followed according to the existing hole centres on the posts.
Add a Vertical Bar Railing Gate to create a complete perimeter railing system. These gates are available in widths from 1m wide pedestrian gates up to 10m wide double leaf versions, allowing access for not just pedestrians but also vehicles if required. Much like the railing bays, each gate is available with the option of dig in or bolt down posts, allowing for installation on a range of ground types.
