The 1.5m High Standard Bow Top Railing Kit provides a strong and secure perimeter solution with a welcoming, non-intimidating appearance. Ideal for schools, parks, gardens and other public or private outdoor spaces, it offers effective boundary demarcation without creating a harsh or restrictive environment.

Manufactured from durable galvanised steel, the railing is designed for long-lasting outdoor performance and is available with dig-in or bolt-down posts. A Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a range of RAL colours is also available for a customised finish.

Durable Galvanised Steel Construction

Each railing bay is manufactured from high-quality galvanised steel. The protective zinc coating helps guard against weathering and corrosion, helping the railing maintain its strength and appearance over time.

The panel consists of 16mm diameter tubes formed into the characteristic bow-top design. Two 10mm horizontal bars provide additional support, positioned along the bottom and 150mm from the top of the panel.

Each panel is supported by 50mm x 50mm hollow box-section posts, with a support leg positioned in the centre of the bay for additional stability.

Galvanised or PPC Finish

The railing is supplied with a galvanised finish as standard, providing a durable silver appearance and protection against corrosion.

For a more customised perimeter, choose a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a range of RAL colours. PPC provides an attractive finish while adding another layer of protection against rust and weathering.

If the coating becomes damaged, touch-up spray cans can be used to restore the finish.

Dig-In or Bolt-Down Posts

Choose the post option to suit your ground conditions.

• Dig-in posts: Suitable for softer ground where holes can be excavated. The longer posts are set into the ground and secured using post mix.
• Bolt-down posts: Designed for hard surfaces where digging may not be practical. Each post features a fixed base plate with four pre-drilled holes for securing with ground anchor bolts.

Installation

1. Drill a 6mm pilot hole for the new cleat, taking the ground gradient into account.
2. Open the hole to 12mm to accommodate the M10 bolts.
3. Touch up and spray the hole where required.
4. Attach the cleat using an M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut for 1.5m systems.
5. Attach the railing panel following the standard installation guidance.
6. Important: Ensure spacing follows the existing hole centres on the posts.

Add a matching Bow Top Railing Gate to create a secure access point within your perimeter. A wide range of single and double-leaf gates are available, with options for different widths, post types and PPC finishes.
