1.2m High Single Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Kit
A sleek and stylish vertical bar gate which provides a secure and cost-effective access point for pedestrian or small to medium-sized vehicle use. These fantastic-looking metal vertical bar gates are available in a range of widths from 2.0m up to 5.0m and are ideal for installation in a variety of locations for a range of uses. For example, they can be used as front or back garden gates or to secure driveways, allowing access for cars to homes, as well as more public spaces such as parks or educational facilities such as schools.
To ensure that your gate will remain strong and looking fantastic for many years, each gate has been expertly constructed by our team of fabricators using high-quality galvanised steel. The zinc coating used on the steel provides it with a robust layer of protection against the effects of rusting and corrosion, keeping the gates looking great and strong for years to come.
Each 1.2m high single leaf metal gate is supplied with a sliding latch. This allows the gate to be held securely shut when it is not in use. The slider can be used in conjunction with a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately) to further secure the gate, preventing unauthorised access.
As well as the slider, each gate comes with a drop bolt, which can be used to hold the gate open securely, ideal for allowing vehicles to pass through safely. The drop bolt can also be used to further secure the gate when it is not in use.
So that these gates can be used in as many different locations as possible, it is possible to order them with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
Dig-in posts: The dig-in posts are suitable for locations where the ground type is soft, allowing holes to be easily dug. These posts are longer than the bolt-down variant, as some of the posts will be placed into the hole and held securely with the use of post mix (sold separately)
Bolt-down post: The bolt-down posts are more suited towards areas where digging holes may be impractical or costly, such as areas which have been covered with concrete. These posts have a base plate which allows ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to secure each post firmly in place.
Each kit includes:
- 1 x Sliding bolt gate leaf
- 1 x Catch gate post
- 1 x Hinge gate post
- 2 x Adjustable gate eyes
- 1 x Drop bolt

As standard, each of these 1.2m high metal vertical bar gates is finished with a high-quality zinc galvanised coating. These finishes not only give the gates a fantastic looking silver finish, but also help to protect the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation.
It is also possible to add a splash of colour to your railing system with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These fantastic coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours, which can be used to allow these gates to blend in more with their surroundings or create bright and colourful points of exit and entry. The PPC finishes don’t just add colour to the gate, but provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against the effects of weathering and rust formation.
