1.2m High Single Leaf Standard Bow Top Railing Gate Kit
A fantastic-looking, strong and cost-effective solution for adding a pedestrian or vehicular access point for small to medium vehicles. The single leaf style of this gate and its range of sizes from 2.0m up to 5.0m make it ideal for use in home gardens or to secure driveways. They can also be used in more public spaces, such as parks or playgrounds.
Each of these 1.2m high metal bow top gates has been made to our highest standards by our expert team of fabricators using high-quality galvanised steel. The zinc galvanised coating provides the steel with a layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and corrosion. This, combined with the robust construction of the gates mean they will remain strong, stable and looking great for years to come.
Each of these 1.2m steel bow top railing gates is supplied with a sliding latch bolt. This allows the gate to be securely closed when not in use. The sliding latches can be locked in place with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately), which can prevent unauthorised access.
The gates are also supplied with a drop bolt. The drop bolt is ideal for holding the gate open for extended periods of time, they can also be used to further secure the gate when not in use.
To enable the 1.2m high single leaf metal bow top gates to be installed in as many different locations as possible, they are available with either dig-in or bolt down posts.
- Dig in posts: The dig-in posts are designed to be used in areas where holes can be dug easily. These posts are longer than their bolt-down variants, allowing a section of the post to be placed into the hole and secured in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)
- Bolt down posts: The bolt-down posts are suitable for areas where the ground surface may have been covered with concrete, making digging holes impractical or not possible. These bolts have base plates pre-attached, which allow for ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to be used to secure each post to the ground surface.

As standard, the 1.2m high bow top gates are finished with a zinc galvanised coating; these coatings provide the steel with a layer of protection against the damaging effects of corrosion and rust.
It is also possible to add a splash of colour to the gates with the application of a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These high-quality finishes can add some much-needed colour to your railing system, allowing the gates to either blend into their environment or create an eye-catching entry or exit point. These coatings also provide the steel with a secondary layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
