1.0m High Double Leaf Standard Vertical Bar Railing Gate Kit
Providing a safe, strong and cost-effective point of access for vehicles, these gates are ideal for use in a wide range of outdoor environments such as home gardens and driveways or for use in public spaces such as parks, schools and play areas.
Each of these 1.0m high double leaf vertical bar gates has been constructed from high quality galvanised steel, made by our fabrication team to meet our exceedingly high standards. The incredibly strong construction means that these gates will remain strong and stable whilst the zinc coating will help protect the steel from the damaging effects of rust and corrosion.
These double leaf gates feature a classic vertical bar design and are available in a range of widths from 2.0m up to 10.0m, allowing access for anything from a single line of small vehicles up to two lanes of vehicles Each gate leaf can be opened and closed independently of one another, which can be used to restrict traffic into and out of the perimeter.
The gate leafs also feature a slider and latch system, which allows the gates to be securely closed when not in use, preventing the leafs from blowing open. The slider can also be used to further secure the gates with the use of a heavy duty padlock (sold separately), preventing unauthorised access.
Each double leaf gate is supplied with two drop down bolts. These bolts can be used to hold the gate leafs open when the gates are in use, allowing pedestrians and vehicles to pass through without having to stop to open and close the gates. These bolts can also be used to further secure the gates when not in use.
So that these double leaf gates can be installed in as many locations as possible, it is possible to order them with either dig in or bolt down posts.
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts have been designed for use on ground surfaces which may have been covered with concrete, making digging holes either impractical or costly. This type of post comes with a pre-attached baseplate, allowing the posts to be secured in place with the use of ground anchor bolts (sold separately)
Dig in posts – The dig in posts have been designed to be longer than the bolt down version as this type of post is used in areas where holes can be easily dug. The longer posts mean that a section of the post can be placed into the hole and held in place with the use of post mix (sold separately)

As standard, the 1.0m double leaf vertical bar gates are finished with a superb quality zinc galvanised finish. This coating helps to protect the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation, allowing them to keep their silver finish for longer.
If you’re looking to add a splash of colour to your new gates, they are available with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC) in a wide range of RAL colours. These polyester coatings don’t just look great, but provide the steel with an additional layer of protection against the damaging effects of weathering and rust formation. (Please note: Lead times may apply depending on the colour selected)
