End Strainer Post Kit
Cundy peeled end strainer posts are timber posts designed for agricultural fencing, providing essential support at the ends of fence lines or where fencing terminates, such as at gates or corners. These posts are ideal for areas where the fence changes direction and where managing high tension is necessary.
The end strainer post kit includes one 3.0m x 150/175mm strainer post and one 2.7m x 75/100mm strut. Both posts are Cundy Peeled, a process that strips the bark, leaving the timber with a natural, rustic appearance. As a result, the posts have a non-uniform diameter, with measurements such as 150/175mm indicating that the diameter varies along the length of the post. The timber is pressure-treated through tanalisation.
Struts are diagonal supports placed between the strainer post and the ground to prevent the post from tilting or being pulled out of position. Typically, the strainer posts are driven into the ground and then backfilled. The struts are often set in concrete, using a material such as post mix, for added stability.
