A location with high value assets requires high level security. ProFence® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 868 Fencing and Gates are the height of First Fence's offering and are ideal for this situation.
To receive accreditation, products must undergo rigorous testing and scrutiny to evaluate their ability to withstand hostile and deliberate attack. This ability is tested by using tools such as bolt cutters, screwdrivers and pliers among others from Toolkit A. Not only is the attack attempt evaluated, but also the amount of time someone is willing to invest in a breach attempt. The coveted SR1 (A1) rating certifies that the product will give resistance to a sustained sixty-second attack, these crucial seconds will help an on-site security monitoring team to detect and respond to this attack and act before the boundary is compromised.
The ProFence® range from First Fence offers a versatile selection of fence kits, including the 358 Prison Mesh and 868 Twin Mesh, each available in various heights. Complementing these options are single and double gates designed to seamlessly integrate with the ProFence® fencing system. This product range earns its distinction as an exceptional security solution, firmly securing its place in the esteemed Red Book, thanks to rigorous SR1 testing.
ProFence® is certified for gradients from 0 to 25 degrees

The kit comes with a sliding gate leaf with a latch bolt to keep it closed, a hinge and catch post, three adjustable gate eyes with shear nuts, ribbed inserts for the posts and gate frame. It has 50mm ground clearance.
This SR1 rated mesh gate is manufactured from quality steel has been Hot Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461 standards, which gives the product long-lasting weather and damage protection. This is vital for a gate that is permanently sited out of doors. In addition, a polyester powder coating is also added, this not only gives a lovely, sleek finish it will add more protection from damage. A range of RAL colours is available to choose from.
The ProFence® 868 Mesh gate possesses the easily recognisable 868 Twin Mesh which has 6mm vertical wires intersecting 8mm horizontal wires. This type of mesh is strong and difficult to cut through, however it is easy to see through and the mesh formation is small so will not allow items to be passed through.
Public safety is a high priority with this certified mesh gate, it has three adjustable gate eyes which mean that if just one hinge point fails, the gate itself will not, thus protecting people and property from injury and damage. Each gate eye is fastened with a shear nut, making it tamper proof when in place.
For added security, the gate can be firmly shut in the closed position using the sliding latch bolt.
The ProFence® gate offers installation flexibility, available in either a dig-in or bolt-down format. It's crucial to assess your ground conditions before making your choice. The bolt-down option includes four ground anchor bolts for each post, while the dig-in post option requires Post Mix, available as an additional purchase. For a 2.0m high gate, it is recommended to use three bags of Post Mix per post for a solid foundation. It is suggested that you use either C20 or C25 post mix.
A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
