The gate showcases the distinctive 868 Mesh, often referred to as Twin Mesh due to its double horizontal wires. This resilient wire mesh, featuring narrow apertures, not only hinders the passage of objects but also presents a formidable challenge for scaling or cutting. It finds its ideal application in scenarios where clear visibility ranks high in priority, particularly when integrated with CCTV systems.
The gate kit incorporates six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring that even in the unlikely event of a hinge failure, the gate remains securely in place, preventing accidents, damage, or injuries. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, minimising the risk of post-installation removal. Two Drop Bolts provide additional security for your security-rated double gate.
Easy Installation
Our SR1-rated mesh gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats, catering to a wide range of ground conditions. It's imperative to assess your installation site's ground type before making your purchase. Soft soil or grassy areas necessitate the dig-in option, while concrete or solid ground mandates bolt-down posts.
The bolt-down kit includes the essential ground anchor bolts. Opting for the dig-in kit requires the addition of Post Mix to your order, with a recommended four bags per post for a robust installation. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.
This gate is well-suited for both pedestrian access and smaller vehicles such as forklifts. The sliding latch bolt securely holds the leaves closed, with the drop bolts ensuring their steadfast position. You have the flexibility to open one or both leaves as per your requirements.
A recommended range of approved Secure By Design (SBD) padlocks is available.
