This certification signals an important one-minute delay against physical attacks using an array of compact hand tools from Toolkit A, including glass cutters, wrenches, punches, and pliers. These small and easily concealable tools are the preferred choice of potential intruders due to their covert nature. This pivotal sixty-second delay grants crucial time for on-site security personnel to detect any breach on CCTV and respond swiftly. This accreditation determines also the length of time someone will employ in an attempt at access.

Features and Benefits

Our 358 Mesh double leaf gate provides users with flexibility in terms of access control, allowing one or both leaves to be opened and closed. This is one of the widest gates available in this format and will be invaluable in determining site access. This gate has been fabricated from high-grade hot-dipped galvanised steel, it is further protected by a polyester powder coating, available in a variety of RAL colours, enhancing its resistance against wear, damage, rust, vandalism, and corrosion. The colour can be matched to an existing fence line or to your corporate branding for a sleek and professional finish. When a product is sited outdoors permanently, as a gate is, this type of surface protection is essential.

This product comes in a full kit form, including gate leaves, two hinge gate posts, two drop bolts, six adjustable gate eyes, and ribbed inserts for the gate frame and posts. The gate leaves feature an 358 mesh infill, a well-established security mesh configuration that is highly resistant to cutting or climbing attempts. This robust mesh is ideal for scenarios requiring clear perimeter visibility or integration with CCTV systems.

To enhance security, our gate kit includes six adjustable gate eyes, ensuring gate stability even in the event of single hinge failure. Each adjustable gate eye bolt is securely fastened with a snap-off nut, minimising the risk of post-installation removal. Furthermore, two Drop Bolts add an extra layer of safety.

Installation Made Easy

Our SR1-rated gate kit is available in both dig-in and bolt-down formats and follows the same installation process as our standard mesh fencing and gates, making it adaptable to diverse ground conditions. Whether you're dealing with grass or other soft terrains that require the dig-in option, or concrete and other solid ground types demanding bolt-down posts, we offer comprehensive solutions.

The bolt-down kit includes the essential ground anchor bolts, while the dig-in kit requires the addition of Post Mix to your order. For optimal installation, we recommend four bags per 2.0m post. You should use either C20 or C25 post mix.

Versatile Access Control

Our gate is designed for both pedestrian access and vehicles, boasting a huge 8.0m width. It has a sliding latch bolt to securely close the leaves, while the drop bolts ensure steadfast leaf placement. You retain the flexibility to open one or both leaves to align with your specific location requirements.
