Dig In & Bolt Down Palisade Fencing Posts

Palisade fencing is designed to offer high level security and provide a protective barrier. Our palisade fencing is available in a kit equipped with a post and fixing. However, we do sell all the individual components separately including our robust posts. We have intermediate posts which are posts that are designed to go in between the fencing to connect to other panels. Our end posts are designed to end the run of fencing. These are available in either dig in or bolt down posts to match your ground type.

Palisade fencing posts are crafted from high-quality steel and come with a galvanised or powder-coated finish for enhanced resistance to corrosion and weathering. This ensures that the posts remain structurally sound even in harsh outdoor environments.

Our posts are available in the following sizes of 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m and 3.0m.

Dig In Posts

For soft ground such as grass, we recommend dig in posts. Dig in posts are designed to be dug into the ground and then secured in place with post mix. The posts are longer than the bolt down posts as it has extra height for dig in allowance.

Bolt Down Posts

Bolt down posts are the best option for hard surfaces such as concrete where it would be difficult to dig a hole in. These posts are equipped with a base plate which has 4 pre-drilled holes for the ground anchors. The ground anchors are drilled through these holes into the ground to secure the post in place. We sell a range of different ground anchors including our standard ground anchor or our resin ground anchors.

End Posts

Our end posts are designed to be placed at the end and terminate your fencing line. These posts are available in both dig in or bolt down posts. 2x Fishplate and 4 x m12 bolts are supplied with the posts however you will need to purchase post mix or ground anchors separately.

Accessories

Don’t forget to check out our palisade accessories. If you are looking for a corner post then our intermediate posts can be made into a corner by using our palisade corner kit. We also have palisade security fencing kits which contains all the pales, posts and fixings you need to create a secure perimeter.

Whether you require dig-in or bolt-down posts, First Fence offers high-quality options that provide strength, reliability, and ease of installation. Our posts are designed to integrate seamlessly with palisade fencing panels and accessories, ensuring a professional and secure finish for any fencing project.
