Our safe cover walk board is commonly used for street works, road works and construction sites. A strength of our safe cover is that it complies to UK’s DETR ‘Safety at Street works and Road works Code of Practice,’ making it safe and practical for all site work.
Constructed from a single piece of glass fibre reinforced composite with ribbed framework on the underside, meaning it has a low density without compromising on strength. This high strength makes our Safe Cover Trench Cover stronger than a wooden plate, and its low density makes it lighter than a steel cover.
These trench covers can cover trenches of a maximum width of 900mm and can take the distributed weight of a vehicle of 2000kg. This makes it perfect for driveways and road works.
