Introducing the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate range by First Fence, a perfect complement to the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railings.
Also known as flat handrails or flat bar railings, this contemporary system is versatile, suitable for many types of setting that needs to set out a boundary. With clean lines, it adds a modern aesthetic while serving as a robust barrier for security in public spaces, maintaining an inviting atmosphere.
In this railing collection, First Fence offers comprehensive kits with gates and railing panels. Gate kits, available in single and double leaf designs, offer various polyester powder-coated colours for easy matching with existing schemes.
Features and Advantages
At first glance the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate may appear to be a regular product, however the way it sets itself apart in the market is by means of its eco-conscious production method. The EnviroRail® system takes a low-weld approach by using custom made, laser-cut pre-galvanised parts that interlock firmly at assembly, which greatly reduces the necessity for energy-demanding welding processes. This approach resonates with many customers who are aware of the environmental impacts that a manufacturing process may have and want to purchase a product that minimises its ecological footprint during production. Crafted by First Fence's in-house team from quality pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates ensure durability in challenging outdoor conditions.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates are a fully modular, lightweight system designed for easy installation. Universally handed, they provide on-site flexibility, accommodating gate movement, a feature absent in traditional fixed gate hardware.
Each gate includes pre-drilled frame holes for easy installation, complying with safety guidelines. The kit includes two gate leaves, two hinge posts and six adjustable gate eyes. With three hinges per leaf, the gate remains secure, preventing potential injury or damage.
Available in various heights and widths, this gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions suitable for installation in different locations. The dig-in option suits softer ground, requiring Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down option suits harder ground and is secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Assessing your ground substance before purchase is advisable to ensure the correct post format.
When installed correctly, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment with a 50mm ground clearance.
The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The gate's modularity makes it compatible with all of our security locks, and additional security features like an anti-climb Locking Plate and heavy-duty padlock are available. A locking drop bolt is available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for the double leaf format.
