The 1.5m high x 5.0m wide EnviroRail® Flat Top Double Leaf Gate is one of the widest available in this range. Opting for a double leaf gate provides greater flexibility, allowing you to choose one or both leaves open or closed for total access control.
Constructed from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, these gates boast a dual layer of protection, ensuring resilience against outdoor exposure and wear. When installed correctly, they are designed to provide many years of reliable use.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates are a fully modular, ultra-lightweight system for a range of hardware that has quick and easy installation. They are universally handed, so any leaf can be the primary leaf, which removes the need for fixed left or right-hand specifications. This gives great flexibility on-site and streamlines decision-making during fitting. The modular functionality gives more adjustability, accommodating any gate movement, a feature that is lacking in traditional, fixed gate hardware.
The gate kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two hinge posts and six adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability even in the unlikely event of even a single hinge failing. Additionally, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, providing fixed axis hinges eradicating vertical movement.
Each gate is comes with pre-drilled holes, making the attaching of the three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt very swift. Plastic hole plugs are included in the kit to cover any unused holes on the attack face, preventing water accumulation inside the structure and enhancing the gate's overall appearance. A locking drop bolt is available as an add-on purchase and is highly recommended for the double leaf format.
Designed for versatility, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in an extensive choice of heights and widths meaning we have the perfect gate for your needs. The gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.
When correctly installed, the gate allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post, with a 50mm ground clearance.
Finishing touches
The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
The modularity of this gate range makes it compatible with our range of security locks. An anti-climb Locking Plate can be added for enhanced security, along with a heavy-duty padlock.
