Features and Benefits

The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 0.9m high x 2.0m wide, offers great flexibility in access control in that users can select to have one or both leaves in an open or closed position, giving you the opportunity to restrict the type of access.

While this gate kit may resemble your average vertical bar railing gate, its standout feature lies in its environmentally mindful manufacturing process. This employs a low-weld technique, it utilises custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised elements to create robust connections when they are interlocked and firmly pressed together during assembly. This dramatically reduces the reliance on energy and resource-intensive welding. If environmental impact reduction is a particular concern for you, this might be the ideal choice.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

The EnviroRail® Double Gates from First Fence offer a completely modular and comparatively lightweight solution, enabling rapid installation to meet a variety of hardware needs. Universally handed, they give on-site flexibility without specific left or right-hand requirements. This modular functionality ensures adjustability in case the gates move, something that fixed hardware cannot do.

Each gate in the kit arrives pre-drilled with holes, thereby simplifying the attachment of the six adjustable hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face, and a locking drop bolt is also available to add to your purchase, and is highly recommended for the double leaf gate. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.

The kit comprises two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each leaf), meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability even if one hinge should fail. Additionally, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post forming fixed-axis hinges that eliminate vertical movement.

Available in various heights and widths, the gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post.

Compatible with our security locks, this gate kit allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post when installed correctly, with gates having 50mm ground clearance.
