Cranked Bracket for Barbed Wire - Fence Security
When your security needs are significant, then adding barbed wire to the top of your fence, wall, roof top, or even on the ground itself, will add an intimidating level of obstruction to anyone thinking about invading your property; scaling your boundary will be much more difficult and may cause injury to the would-be intruder.
The Cranked Angle Bracket will allow you to add barbed wire to the top of your permanent fencing, at an angle. This is particularly good as a deterrent where you have problems with people trying to climb over your fencing or if your premises are very high security for any reason.
Please Note: This cranked bracket is designed for surface-mount installation. The barbed wire does not thread through the holes, but instead runs along the bracket to be secured at each point with tie wire.

Installation Guidance
You can attach this barbed wire bracket to our range of palisade fencing and timber. They can also be attached to existing stone walls. The two lengths of the bracket measure 460.5mm each and the top one is at a 30-degree angle to the lower. Holes are drilled in each for fixing to your fence or wall. Please be aware that these angle brackets are designed as a retrofit security solution for your existing fencing. Installation requires drilling into your fence posts to securely attach the brackets. These brackets are supplied with pre-drilled holes for fixing, but you will need to create corresponding holes in your posts to complete the installation. This cranked bracket is designed for secure barbed wire installation, where the wire runs along the face of the post to be fastened to each bracket with plain wire, rather than being threaded through them.
Ensure you utilise enough brackets to prevent the wire sagging. When installing barbed wire ensure you are wearing protective clothing and gloves as it can cause physical damage
Powder Coating Available
This angle bracket is manufactured from zinc plated steel, which will protect the bracket from damage and rusting. We also have Polyester Powder Coating available on this product. Our standard colours are green and black however we do have the option to powder coat a custom colour to match your fencing. Powder coating adds an extra layer of protection to your fencing and support against general wear and tear and corrosion.
