Rebound mesh fencing is a type of fence designed to bounce balls back when they hit it. Made from durable, high-tensile steel wire, the mesh allows the ball to rebound instead of getting stuck. It’s commonly used in sports facilities and training areas to keep play continuous without constantly retrieving balls.
Rebound is typically made from 868 mesh, with the bottom 1.2 metres of the panel featuring square apertures welded at 50mm x 50mm centres. Anything above 1.2 metres usually has 200mm x 50mm centres.
All of our rebound systems are 2500mm centres.
Our rebound gates have many key features, including:
The rebound mesh gate range by First Fence has been designed to suit six different height MUGA ball courts, allowing for the gate to blend into most height requirements for Multiple Use Games Areas. The six different total heights include: 3.0m,3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m, 5.4m and 6.0m high.
Our rebound mesh gates are available in both single leaf and double leaf styles, each with a standard height of 2.4m. The key difference between the two lies in the gate's width and configuration. The double leaf gate features two leaves with an opening width of 2.0m, while the single leaf gate has one leaf with an opening width of 1.2m. For the double leaf gate, you can select which leaf will serve as the primary one and install the appropriate hardware accordingly. Additionally, the single leaf gate includes one locking drop bolt, while the double leaf gate comes with two for added security.
