For sites where robust perimeter protection is essential, our LPS 1175 SR1 and SR2 Automatic Cantilever Gates deliver independently tested security performance alongside reliable automated access control. Designed for critical infrastructure, commercial premises, and high-risk environments, these gates provide a strong physical barrier without compromising operational efficiency.
LPS 1175 is a recognised security certification that evaluates the ability of physical security products to withstand deliberate attack attempts.
LPS 1175 is an LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) certification used to test the resistance to unauthorised access offered by physical security products.
Part of the BRE (Building Research Establishment), the LPCB has worked with the fire and security sector for over 150 years and is trusted globally by the most highly secure sites and organisations for its reliability and quality.
Security professionals and specifiers globally put their trust in the LPS 1175 certification to help clients meet the delayed attack time needed, based on site requirements.
Physical security makes up only one third of the security triangle, meaning sites also need good detection and response times to threats. Typically measured in minutes, specifiers must guarantee the ‘delay’ segment of the security strategy with a certified product rather than an assumption that the fence will ‘do well’ in an attack.
The ProFence® 2X system is a high-security mesh solution engineered for superior protection. Its robust design and security features make it an ideal choice for safeguarding critical infrastructure and high-value assets. This system is rigorously tested and certified to LPS 1175 SR2 B3 standards, providing a reliable barrier against determined attacks.
The ProFence® 868 Mesh system, certified to LPS 1175 SR1 (A1), delivers high-level security while keeping the aesthetics of the site intact. Designed for high-risk sites requiring protection and visual sensitivity, the 868 mesh allows for increased visibility of the entrance from CCTV cameras at guard posts.
The ProFence® 358 Mesh Anti-Climb System is made for high-security sites, featuring welded 358 mesh on the external (attack-facing) side. Tight 76.2 × 12.7 mm apertures prevent hand and footholds, making climbing nearly impossible.
The PaliFence® Palisade Gate system offers the same high-security rating as the mesh systems, but adds a more psychological and physically imposing barrier, effectively discouraging scaling attempts at the same time.
All our LPS 1175 certified automatic cantilever gates come ‘Plug & Play’ - meaning installation time is greatly reduced. They come with all automation and safety devices pre-installed and cabling to run across the entrance for the photocells.
All 4 infill options employ tamper-resistant snap-off nuts, and the mesh infill comes with full-length clamp bar systems to prevent unauthorised disassembly of the mesh.
“This launch marks a significant milestone for First Fence as we continue to elevate our high-security perimeter offerings. Security specifiers and asset managers are increasingly demanding certified, physical protection that doesn’t compromise on operational efficiency. By achieving LPS 1175 SR1 and SR2 status on our automatic cantilever gates, we are providing our clients with verified peace of mind, backed by independent, third-party accreditation.”
“The gates are manufactured from high-grade steel, hot-dip galvanised for superior corrosion resistance, and can be polyester powder-coated in a wide variety of RAL colours to match corporate branding or architectural requirements. The automated drive systems are built for intensive use cycles, offering smooth, quiet, and rapid deployment.”
"The new LPS 1175 SR1 and SR2 Automatic Cantilever Gates are available for specification immediately. First Fence provides comprehensive technical support, from initial site-tendering requirements and civil drawings through to delivery and specialised installation guidance."
"These new gates add to the existing high-security range, including fencing systems, double leaf and single leaf swing gate options."
