The Bristol site, spanning just under 100,000 square feet, was the second depot established by First Fence outside its Midlands head office, following Dartford. Its acquisition aligns with the company's long-standing principle of owning, rather than leasing, its assets, including its impressive fleet of 90 vehicles and all other premises.
The Bristol depot currently employs 15 full-time staff, contributing valuable local employment opportunities to Bristol and the surrounding areas. Its prime location just off the M4 corridor provides excellent reach, enabling First Fence to efficiently service customers across the South West and along the M4 corridor.
First Fence has ambitious development plans for the site, which include new concrete works and expanded storage facilities. These improvements will allow the company to further broaden its product offering to the South West region.
Vinny Kotecha, Managing Director of First Fence, commented, “This marks the next chapter for the South West for First Fence. We can now fully develop the site into exactly what we need, enhancing efficiency for a wider product range.”
After years of negotiation, the Bristol depot is now firmly on First Fence's books, solidifying its commitment to the region and its continued growth.
