Whereas traditional gates were "handed" and had to be ordered for a specific left or right-hand opening, the Apollo gate is universally handed, as each leaf is identical. This gives installers complete flexibility on-site.

The mesh panel is now welded into the centre of the frame, creating a more professional finish with no designated "front" or "back," unlike older gates where the mesh was welded to one face.

In terms of strength and construction, the Apollo gate uses mitred corners, which provide superior rigidity and a cleaner aesthetic compared to the traditional square-welded corners found on older models, which were often a point of structural weakness.

Most importantly, the Apollo system was designed with safety at its core. It is fully prepared for compliance with the BS EN 12604 safety standard, featuring pre-drilled holes for compliant hinges and a safety tether (sold seperately). Our larger gates already have three hinges and are compliant to BS EN 12604. This is a critical feature that older gate designs lacked.

Finally, hardware installation has been revolutionised; the frame is ready to accept a range of locks and hardware, such as the Gatemaster Superlock, without the need for on-site drilling or modification, a common requirement for previous gate versions.

Double Leaf Gates:
