This double swing gate is 3.5m wide and is constructed from aluminium. There is a solid infill of vertical panels that form a solid defence and visually obscures what lies beyond the gate. Aluminium is a very durable fencing material; it is light in weight and is infinitely recyclable so is very eco-friendly. When exposed to air aluminium oxide is formed and this makes a rust-resistant barrier therefore making any product made from it impervious to this corrosion.
These gates come polyester powder coated in black or grey as standard, however if you wish to choose another colour please get in touch to discuss the options available. Powder coating gives a wonderful finish to the gates but it also acts as a defensive measure against damage and weathering. Interestingly, aluminium becomes stronger in lower temperatures so it is the perfect material for outdoor gates in the UK!
This is a very low maintenance gate, to clean them you simply wash with soapy water and rinse away the residue.

The Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate comes with 4 wall-mounted hinges and 2 floor-mounted hinges. Allow an extra 50mm for the hinges when measuring up. Posts are required if there is nothing to fix gate to and can be purchased separately. The lock and handle for the gate can be purchased as an add on for an additional price and it will be fitted to the gate before delivery.
The aluminium gates come with a 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee (Ready Made Gates).
