Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate 3.5m Wide With Larger Partial Privacy Section
The Aluminium Double Swing Driveway Gate has a vertical infill to the lower section of the leaf and a middle section with a partial infill that allows much more visibility through it than other Ready Made Gates designs. It has a less intimidating feel than the full privacy gates with their solid infill, yet still acts as a substantial barrier to your driveway and property. You will be in control over access to your land, any vehicles parked to its rear will be protected and your family and pets will be kept safe.
Aluminium is known for its strength and versatility as a manufacturing material, yet its light weight and innate rust-resistance make it ideal for a gate in permanent outdoor application. Aluminium is largely unaffected by the tough weather conditions the UK faces, particularly the cold and wet and in fact it actually increases in strength in low temperatures. Salt corrosion is an issue in coastal regions, however aluminium is resistant to this damage so if you live by the sea, a gate made from this would be a good choice.
This gate is available in the following heights: 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m and is polyester powder coated in a black or grey finish, which gives it a very attractive look, but also gives it some protection from weathering and wear and tear. Other non-standard colours are available, please get in touch to discuss the options.
The gate comes with 4 wall-mounted hinges and 2 floor-mounted hinges. Please allow an extra 50mm for the hinges when you are measuring up. Gate Posts are recommended if there is nothing to fix gate to and can be purchased separately. They may not be required if the gate is to be within two walls. The lock and handle for the gate can be purchased as an add on for an additional price and it will be fitted to the gate before delivery.
The aluminium gates come with a 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee (Ready Made Gates).
