Product Description

76mm Diameter Galvanised Hooped Perimeter Barrier: Dig In or Bolt Down

Our 76mm hooped perimeter barriers provide a dependable way to define boundaries and safeguard specific areas. Built to be strong yet unobtrusive, they help stop vehicles from entering spaces they shouldn’t, such as grassed banks, roadside verges, and the perimeters of car parks. They also create a neat, visible guide around entrances, trolley bays, and vehicle display zones while keeping the surrounding area open and uncluttered.

Main Features

  • Constructed from high-quality mild steel
  • Galvanised to ISO 1461 to deliver long-lasting protection against corrosion
  • Optional welded base plates for bolt-down fixing (bolts sold separately)

Available Dimensions

  • Heights: 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm
  • Lengths: 750mm, 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm

Installation Methods

Bolt-Down

  1. Mark and drill the holes required for the flange plates, usually around 100mm deep.
  2. On less stable ground, using studding with resin can provide a more secure fix.
  3. Position the barrier, then tighten the nuts and washers over the base plates to complete the installation.

Dig-In

  1. Before digging, confirm there are no cables or underground services in the area.
  2. Create two holes approximately 300mm deep and slightly wider than the tube diameter.
  3. Lower the legs into the ground to a depth of 300mm, ensuring the barrier is upright and level, then backfill with concrete.

Suitable Locations

Thanks to the variety of sizes and installation options, these barriers fit well in:

  • Industrial and warehouse settings
  • Outdoor car display areas
  • Car parks
  • Access points to commercial buildings
  • Trolley collection areas
