The entire system is designed in accordance with the specification for Highways Works Clause 2504, and its timber components are treated under Sector Scheme 4, making it approved for use on the most sensitive infrastructure projects. The system is tested and complies to BS EN 1793 Road Traffic Noise Reducing Devices, BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2. This is the definitive test for a barrier's ability to control noise, assessing sound insulation and absorption. The system's high-mass design, boasting an average panel density of 71kg/m² (excluding posts), is the foundation of its excellent insulating properties. All steelwork is heavily protected against corrosion through galvanisation to ISO 1461 or zinc plating to ISO 4042/ISO 2081.

  Advanced High-Performance Panel Construction: The 2.42m wide panels are constructed with a sophisticated multi-layer design. They feature heavy-duty 150x22mm EchoAbsorb Straight Boards, a thick core of 475x75mm EchoAbsorb Insulation protected from moisture by a nylon water-resistant sheet, and an integral 358 security mesh panel. The structure is finished with a 125x38mm Capping Rail and a robust 150x75mm Gravel Board, which provides a 100mm air gap from the ground to preserve the timber.

• Heavy-Duty Structural Frame: To support the 3.0m height, this system utilises powerful 127 x 76mm steel RSJ posts, supplied at an overall length of 4200mm. These are installed using the "Dig In" fixing method, requiring a minimum C20/25 concrete foundation of 650x300x300mm and a dig-in depth of 1200mm for absolute structural stability.
