3.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
This 3.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can be incorporated in a Palisade Security fencing structure of the same height in order to provide a vehicle access point. It is wide enough to enable vehicles of all sizes to pass in and out of a site, including HGVs and vans. By installing this palisade gate, you can monitor who accesses your site and keep your site protected when it is not in operation. The palisade gate contains two 4.0m gate leaves which meet in the centre when closed. To fix the leaves in place, the sliding latch bolt should be shifted across, and the two drop bolts should be inserted into the ground below. If you require a greater level of palisade fencing and gate security, you may order a Heavy-Duty Padlock from the customisation section above.
This palisade gate is extremely versatile as it can be erected in a range of areas; however, its 3.0m height makes it more suitable for locations that have a very high risk to their security. Prior to beginning construction, you must consider the type of ground on which you plan to erect your security fencing and palisade gate. This gate can be constructed on soft ground using Dig-In Posts and on hard ground using Bolt Down Posts; so it is important that you use gate posts that have the right compatibility. You can select your required posts when placing your gate order.

Features and Manufacture
With a great deal of strength and stability, this 3.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate can withstand high winds as well as provide a substantial amount of security to your site. Made from quality cold rolled steel, it is thinner and lighter yet still very strong. Each pale that features within the construction of the palisade gate has a profile which is ‘W’ in shape, and this helps to restrict climbing activity, as they are very tough to grip onto. The top of each pale also encompasses a Flat, Single Pointed, Triple Pointed, Round and Notched or Round design, which also helps to restrict intruders attempting to scale the gate. Flat and Round pales offer more safety, whereas Pointed pales will give your palisade gate a more imposing appearance and work as an effective theft deterrent. This palisade gate can be at risk of the formation of rust, so it is supplied with a galvanised finish to help prevent this. Galvanisation complies with BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and consists of a zinc coating being applied to the steel. If you would like to supply your palisade gate with a greater form of protection against damage and weathering, you may request a Polyester Powder Coating colour. This type of finish will also make your gate more visible and attractive. All of these options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.

Gate Kit
Your 3.0m x 8.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate will be supplied to you as a kit containing all of the necessary components ready to start construction. By purchasing a gate kit, you can effectively reduce ordering time as items will not have to be ordered individually. Your kit will include one sliding latch bolt and one gate frame, to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System, as well as pales, posts, fixing bolts, drop bolts and hinges. Post Mix and Ground Anchors are not included within this kit and will need to be purchased separately if required.
