3.0m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Security Gate
The installation of this 3.0m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate, along with your Palisade Security Fencing System, will successfully enable vehicles such as small vans, cars and forklifts to enter a site when required. As well as being able to grant access, you will also be able to fully secure the site when the gate is closed. The palisade gate consists of two gate leaves, which are both 3.0m wide. The gate leaves meet in the middle when they are closed and are fixed in place by a sliding latch bolt and two lower drop bolts. You may also supply your palisade fencing and gate with an additional form of security by using a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
This palisade gate is suitable for construction in a variety of locations; however, it is considered to be more appropriate for areas requiring really high levels of security due to its 3.0m height. You may erect your security fencing and palisade gate using one of two post types, although you should ensure that the correct posts are employed, as Bolt Down Posts are compatible with hard grounds like concrete, yet Dig-In Posts are compatible with soft grounds like grass. Features & Manufacture
With fantastic strength and rigidity, this 3.0m x 6.0m Double Leaf Gate can provide great security on a permanent and long-term basis. The palisade gate is manufactured from steel, which has undergone a cold rolling process to form its shape. Cold rolling makes the steel thinner and more lightweight, but without reducing the level of strength that it originally has. Several pales feature within this palisade gate, and these have all been designed in a way to help prevent intrusion. Each pale has a ‘W’ shaped profile, which makes gripping a hold of them very difficult. The top of each pale also features a Single Pointed, Triple Pointed, Round and Notched, Round or Flat shape, and this is to hinder and restrict climbing activity as much as possible. By opting for Pointed pales, you can provide an even greater level of security to your palisade gate as these also work as an effective theft deterrent. This palisade gate is also coated with a layer of zinc to help protect the steel from rust. This is known as a galvanised finish, and it conforms to the BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standard. You can also opt to have your 3.0m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate polyester powder coated in an RAL colour. By selecting this type of finish, your gate will become brighter and have better resilience to the effects of weathering, damage and general wear and tear. We automatically supply our 3.0m x 6.0m double leaf palisade gates fully galvanised and with triple pointed styled pales. However, you can modify these gate features by customising them through a range of options in the order section above.
Gate Kit
All 3.0m x 6.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates are provided as a kit. In this kit, you will receive the correct amount of posts, pales, fixing bolts, drop bolts and hinges, along with one sliding latch bolt and the whole gate frame to fit into your Palisade Security Fencing System. There will be no Postfix cement or ground anchor bolts included within your kit, and these should be purchased separately if needed.
