Suitable for areas which are considered to have a high security risk, this 3.0m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is great for creating an access point for small sized vehicles. Opening to 4.0m wide, this palisade gate can allow vehicles like small vans, forklifts and cars to pass in and out of a site; although it is not appropriate for the access of larger sized vehicles like lorries. When the gate is not in use it is secured with a sliding bolt and effectively merges with the rest of the Palisade Security Fencing system, to help guard and protect the site. This gate has the ability to be constructed in a variety of locations and on a range of different ground types. You must take into consideration the type of ground on which you will assemble your security fencing and palisade gate as this will ultimately determine which post types you will need to use. Bolt Down Posts will need to be used for gates constructed on hard ground such as concrete. However, Dig-In Posts will need to be used for palisade gates that are assembled on softer types of ground like grass.

Features and Manufacture

This palisade gate offers great strength and dependability and is able to remain stable during high winds. It is manufactured from steel which has undergone a cold rolling process, whereby the steel is folded and pressed into the unique ‘W’ shape profile, allowing the steel to be thinner and lighter in weight, without its strength being reduced in any way. This 3.0m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is provided with a galvanised finish which meets BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. The purpose of this galvanisation process is to give the gate a form of protection against rust and is achieved through the application of a zinc coating. By doing this, your gate is not only supplied with greater protection from the effects of damage and corrosion, but it is also made colourful and more visible. This 3.0m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate offers a great deal of security and this achieved through the clever design of the pales. The profile of the pales effectively limits opportunities for climbing by making it very difficult for anyone to grip the pales. In addition to this, the tops of the pales feature a specific design which also helps to restrict any potential intruders scaling the gate and gaining entry to your site. Available pale types are Flat, Round and Notched, Round, Single Pointed and Triple Pointed. Each of these provide a different level of intimidation; with Single Pointed and Triple Pointed Pales providing the highest level and therefore, these work effectively as theft deterrents. Gate Kit

To make the ordering process much quicker and simpler, we supply all of our 3.0m x 4.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gates as a kit. These kits contain the required components for gate assembly, which means that items do not need to be ordered individually. However, we do not supply any Ground Anchor Bolts or Postfix cement within these kits, so these need to be added to your shopping cart as extra purchases.
