This product is manufactured from Sawn Spruce and may cause splinters.
Please note that we do not advise bolting down your Acoustic Fencing. For the most secure results, we recommend digging in to help ensure site safety and wind loading.
Reclaim your peace and privacy with the EchoReflect Acoustic Fencing Kit. Designed to combat the stress of unwanted noise, our premium timber barriers effectively block sound from traffic and busy surroundings, transforming your space into a comfortable and inviting environment. Perfect for homes, schools, and businesses, the beautiful timber design enhances your property's charm while providing a robust sound shield.
This 3.0m x 3.0m kit is available in a convenient, loose-component form or as a pre-assembled panel, with a precision-engineered profile that ensures a gap-free barrier for ultimate noise control. Wider fence panels provide clear benefits: lower material costs with fewer parts, quicker, more efficient installation, and a cleaner appearance thanks to fewer vertical posts.
Effective Noise Reduction: These timber barriers redirect sound waves using a profile of vertical sawn boards and cover strips, minimising sound transmission.
Certified Performance: Independently tested by Salford University, this system meets Highways England requirements (BS EN 1793) for road traffic noise reduction and complies with BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2.
Superior Durability: Manufactured from Tanalised (UC4), pressure-treated timber from an FSC certified supplier. The timber is surface incised to achieve maximum preservative protection for ground contact, ensuring a long life.
Long Service Life: Designed to be maintenance-free, the timber boasts a 30-year desired service life as specified by the manufacturer (subject to correct installation and site conditions).
Natural Aesthetic: The timber's natural pale green colour blends beautifully with outdoor surroundings. It can be painted or stained with a breathable finish if desired.
Enhanced Privacy & Security: Beyond noise control, these solid fence panels increase privacy and offer a more attractive alternative to industrial security fencing.
This loose kit contains all the timber components for one 3.0m wide bay: Straight Boards, a Timber Gravel Board, a Capping Rail, Horizontal Rails, and Cover Strips.
You can choose to install your panels using either wooden posts or galvanised RSJ steel posts. Make your selection when adding to your order.
For the most secure and effective installation, we strongly recommend digging the posts in rather than bolting them down.
Installation is straightforward. Once your posts are securely in place at 3.0m centres, fix the horizontal rails to the posts at equal spacings. With the support structure in place, begin attaching the vertical boards, ensuring they are butted up closely to each other and nailed to the rails. Next, attach the cover strips over each vertical joint using 64mm stainless steel nails. Finally, fix the capping rail to the top of the panel to provide a clean finish and help shed rainwater.
Before installation, clear any vegetation along the fence line and ensure panels will not sit in standing water. For advice on wind load suitability in your area, please consult a structural engineer
