The AcoustiGuard® SR1 Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 2.0m high by 3.0m wide, provides the ideal mix of secure access and noise reduction for everyday vehicle entry. With a 3.0m clear width, it comfortably accommodates cars, vans, and lighter commercial vehicles, while the 2.0m height offers a dependable barrier against unauthorised entry. Delivered to the site fully pre-assembled, it can be lifted directly into position, reducing disruption and speeding up installation. This makes it a strong choice for business parks, technology hubs, and sensitive commercial locations where site protection and acoustic management must go hand in hand.
This gate is independently approved to the LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standard by the Loss Prevention Certification Board. To achieve this rating, the product must withstand a one-minute forced entry attempt carried out with ‘Toolkit A’, a restricted set of everyday tools often associated with low-level break-ins. Passing this test demonstrates the gate’s ability to delay intrusion, making it a trusted and insurable part of a wider security system. For operators, this certification is reassurance that the product delivers real-world resistance to opportunistic threats.
As well as delivering proven security, this gate has been designed and tested against BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2. BS EN 1794-1 focuses on acoustic performance, and the timber-faced design effectively reduces noise transmission, whether containing sound from within or blocking external sources. BS EN 1794-2 covers structural requirements, ensuring the gate can safely withstand wind loading and environmental forces. Together, these standards confirm the system’s ability to deliver lasting acoustic and physical protection.
