Designed for smaller entry points, the AcoustiGuard® SR1 Double Leaf Gate Kit (2.0m x 2.0m) combines dependable security with effective sound reduction. Standing at 2.0m high, it creates a strong deterrent while offering a 2.0m clear opening suited to pedestrian routes, narrow vehicle access, or compact perimeter gaps. Delivered fully built and ready for lifting into place, it ensures a quick, hassle-free installation. Its LPCB-approved security credentials paired with excellent acoustic performance make it a practical solution for schools, utilities, and commercial sites where both safety and environmental comfort matter.
This gate is accredited to the LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) standard, meaning it has been independently tested by the Loss Prevention Certification Board to confirm its resistance to forced entry. To achieve this rating, the gate must endure a one-minute attack using a basic toolkit of small, easily concealed tools typically associated with opportunistic crime. This certification demonstrates that the gate provides an essential layer of protection against low-level intruders, delaying access long enough to deter or prevent common security breaches.
Beyond security, this system has been designed to perform as a noise barrier and to meet structural safety requirements. BS EN 1794-1 governs acoustic performance, and the pressure-treated UC4 timber frontage reduces sound transfer—either shielding neighbouring areas from site activity or minimising external noise pollution. BS EN 1794-2 ensures structural reliability, covering factors such as wind loading and long-term durability. Supported by a galvanised steel frame and heavy-duty 120x120x4mm posts, the gate is engineered to remain strong, stable, and weather-resistant throughout its service life.
