The AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) Gate Kit offers a unique combination of certified security and noise-reducing acoustic performance, designed for sites where both protection and environmental control are critical. Certified High Security: LPS 1175 SR1 (A1)

Security is at the heart of the AcoustiGuard® range. This gate is fully certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8, Security Rating 1 (A1), ensuring resistance against opportunistic attacks using hand tools from Toolkit A, as defined by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). The gate’s fully welded frame, anti-tamper fixings, and integrated security features, including SR1-rated eyebolts, anti-lift hinges, and M8 shear-nut fasteners, provide a robust barrier that forms part of a certified and tested perimeter system. This makes the AcoustiGuard® SR1 gate ideal for use in projects where accreditation to recognised security standards is a requirement.

Engineered Acoustic Performance: BS EN 1794-1 & BS EN 1794-2 Compliant

The gate face is clad with tanalised UC4 timber acoustic panels, delivering effective noise attenuation in line with BS EN 1794-1 (mechanical performance) and BS EN 1794-2 (acoustic performance). These panels are commonly used alongside highways, rail infrastructure, and industrial zones to reduce noise pollution and meet planning regulations for environmental noise control. The acoustic infill is securely housed within the hot dip galvanised steel gate frame, offering long-term durability and weather resistance. The combination of structural and acoustic integrity ensures that the AcoustiGuard® range performs reliably in both urban and rural environments where security and noise reduction must go hand-in-hand.

Durable Materials & Galvanised Finish

Constructed from hot dip galvanised steel in accordance with ISO 1461, the gate frame is protected against corrosion and designed for long service life. The gate is available in a galvanised-only finish, which can be left exposed or over-coated on site if a specific aesthetic is required. The post specifications are as follows: 120 x 120 x 4 mm (hinge post) and 100 x 100 x 3 mm (catch post). The gate is right-hand hung as standard when viewed from outside looking in. With an access width of 2000 mm and an installed height of 1800 mm, this gate is suitable for both pedestrian and vehicular applications. Supplied fully assembled for lifting, installation is efficient and reduces time on site, ideal for projects with tight deadlines or restricted access.

Flexible Integration with the AcoustiGuard® Range

This gate is designed to be installed either as a standalone unit, fixed to solid substrates such as brick walls or existing structures, or as part of a complete AcoustiGuard® acoustic fencing system. When installed with compatible acoustic panels and fixings, the system offers a continuous line of protection with matching appearance, acoustic performance, and certified resistance to intrusion. The gate includes a 50 mm ground clearance as standard and can be installed using either dig-in or bolt-down post configurations, depending on site conditions and installation preferences.
